The research line aims to operate in different production ecosystems in an interdisciplinary manner, building new knowledge and developing methods, processes, and products that increase productivity while reducing environmental impact in agriculture. The studies seek to develop innovative plant production practices and technologies to address the challenges of food production, aligning with climate change and the Sustainable Development Goals established by the UN. In this context, the soil-water-plant-atmosphere components are studied from a new perspective, integrating geospatial information, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to evaluate and solve agricultural problems. The multifaceted view of these components provides an integrative perspective on the agricultural production system, enabling the creation of innovative solutions for the sector that will ultimately lead to the economic and environmental sustainability of agriculture.
